Privacy policy

In short: Wisselzone has no account, no server of its own and no ads. Your workouts, heart rate and profile stay on your own iPhone and Apple Watch. We don't see, collect or sell anything.
Who we are
Wisselzone is a training app for iPhone and Apple Watch by Uiteraard Reclame, Balkerweg 49a, 7738 PA Witharen, the Netherlands. Uiteraard Reclame is the controller for the processing described in this privacy policy. Questions about privacy can be sent to info@wisselzone.app.
What data the app uses
To keep track of your workouts, the app uses the following data. It is stored only on your own devices:
- Training data: your plans, times per part, transition times and completed workouts in the log.
- Health data through Apple Health (HealthKit): heart rate, running distance and active calories during a workout. Completed workouts are saved to Apple Health as a workout.
- Profile: your name, profile photo, goal time, target pace, maximum heart rate and your next race. You enter these yourself and they are optional.
Where your data is stored
All data is stored locally on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Plans and completed workouts are exchanged directly between your iPhone and Watch over Apple's secure connection (WatchConnectivity). Wisselzone has no server of its own and sends nothing to us or to third parties.
If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or a computer, the app's data is included. That backup falls under your own account with Apple.
Apple Health
The app asks for permission before it reads data from or writes data to Apple Health. You can change or withdraw that permission at any time under Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > Wisselzone.
Data from Apple Health is only used to show your own workouts. It is never used for advertising, never shared with third parties and never sold.
Purchases and subscriptions
You buy Wisselzone Pro through the App Store. Payment runs entirely through Apple; we never see payment or account details. The app only asks Apple whether Pro is active on your device. You cancel and manage it in your Apple account settings. Apple's privacy policy applies to that.
Contact and feedback
If you email us, for example through Send feedback in the app, we receive your email address, your message and any details you include (such as your device model and the app version). We only use this to reply to you and improve the app, and we delete the email when it's no longer needed.
Strava and other apps
Wisselzone itself shares nothing with Strava or other apps. If you give Strava or another app access to Apple Health, that app can read your workouts from there. You control this yourself in Health, and that app's privacy policy applies.
What we don't do
- No account or login
- No ads
- No third-party analytics or tracking
- No selling or sharing of data
- No storing of location data. For outdoor workouts, the Watch uses GPS only to measure your distance.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual workouts in the log (press and hold > Delete, or open the workout and tap Edit > Delete workout) and remove your profile photo in your profile. If you delete the app from your iPhone and Watch, all of its data is deleted. Workouts saved to Apple Health are managed in the Health app.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have, among other things, the right to access, correct and delete your data. Because all data is only on your own devices, you have full control over it yourself. If you still have a question or request, email info@wisselzone.app. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the supervisory authority in your country.
Children
Wisselzone is intended for athletes aged 16 and over and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this privacy policy changes, we update the date at the top. For important changes, we also let you know in the app.
